Aaron Papero is a personal injury attorney for our Steinger, Greene & Feiner office in Fort Lauderdale. Papero spent almost 10 years as a state and federal prosecutor in Palm Beach for the Palm Beach SAO and the Southern District of Florida. He spent the last four years of that time in the Organized Crime unit dealing with organized crime syndicates, gangs, drug and gun trafficking, and handling racketeering and criminal enterprise-type cases. During this time, he tried over 100 jury trials as a prosecutor, including multiple first-degree murders. Afterward, he left to work for an insurance defense firm, where he learned how the defense works and thinks when it comes to personal injury cases.
Aaron is very passionate about working on personal injury cases as he believes people are treated terribly by some insurance companies. In many cases he has handled, he has seen that insurance companies try to argue that the injuries are not as severe and offer lowball compensation amounts. When Aaron encounters these instances, he uses the counter-argument that his clients are not seeking compensation for injuries but rather trying to obtain true and fair value for the life and health that have been taken away by an unnatural event through no fault of the client.
Aaron loves to be outdoors when he has free time. Being at the beach or on the water in a boat or kayak with some friends is mainly where he spends his time unwinding. Growing up as a military brat, he loves traveling. He has lived in Delaware, Germany, Virginia, Mississippi, Alaska, Idaho, and Florida. He plans to travel more abroad in the future!
