Handel M. Edwards II is an associate attorney for Steinger, Greene & Feiner’s Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Handel moved to South Florida after graduating law school to join his family who lived here since 2006.
Handel engaged in undergraduate studies at The City University of New York (CUNY) – Brooklyn College where he graduated with honors, a B.S. in Political Science, and B.A. in Philosophy and Law. Thereafter, he pursued his legal career by graduating with honors from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, where he was a member of the Indiana Journal of Law & Social Equality and several clinics.
Handel’s legal experiences include working with the Civil Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department; a prominent insurance defense law firm in Indianapolis Indiana; and the Civil Litigation Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner, Handel worked for a prominent boutique personal injury law firm as a litigation associate.
At Steinger, Greene & Feiner, Handel devotes 100% of his practice to representing individuals and families who have been injured or died as a result of the negligence of others. The experience Handel gained while working on both sides of the insurance industry has enabled him to understand how insurance companies defend claims, and how to approach and solve issues that arise in litigation. He has taken and defended countless depositions, argued motions across the State of Florida, and settled countless cases against the largest insurance companies in Florida. Handel’s hard work and dedication to help the victims of personal injuries has gained him a reputation as an extremely professional, aggressive, and effective attorney.
