Mary Ellen Coffay is an associate attorney at the Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Florida office of Steinger, Greene and Feiner. She was raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Mary Ellen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
Following graduation, Mary Ellen attended law school at the University of Miami, where she discovered her passion for litigation and oral advocacy. Mary Ellen participated in the litigation skills program during her time at Miami Law and distinguished herself from her classmates by receiving an award of honors. She also was a member of the law school’s prestigious Innocence Clinic, where she advocated for those who had been wrongfully convicted throughout the state of Florida.
Mary Ellen graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of law. She began her legal career at a small civil litigation firm in Miami. She has experience in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and other negligence claims. Mary Ellen is a compassionate and hard-working attorney. She is dedicated to protecting the rights of her clients and providing them with the compensation that they deserve.
She enjoys spending her free time at the beach and is an avid college sports fan.
