Michael J. Alonso

Michael J. Alonso is an attorney with Steinger, Green & Feiner’s Tampa office.  He represents and counsels clients in a variety of legal matters with a primary focus in personal injury law. Prior to joining the Steinger, Greene &Feiner team, Mr. Alonso was a self-employed lawyer where he represented various clients primarily with Family Law matters in Hillsborough County and surrounding communities. In his most recent professional position, Mr. Alonso worked as in-house counsel and vice-president of operations at a highly successful collision center that served the Tampa Bay area for 50 years, where he assisted clients with legal matters associated with various injuries received from automobile accidents.

Mr. Alonso attended Nova Southeastern University College of Law, where, as part of his coursework, he worked in the Street Law Program. This program entailed Mr. Alonso going into the surrounding community and teaching high school students the basics of trial advocacy and preparing them for a county-wide school mock trial competition. Seeing the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment experienced by his students from participating in the mock trial competition helped to instill and fuel in Mr. Alonso, early on, his passion for helping others. Combined with his unique background, having worked as in-house counsel at a collision center and having dealt extensively with the insurance industry, has given Mr. Alonso the hands-on experience to understand the way insurance companies think and the ability to aggressively advocate and fight for the rights of his clients who have suffered an injury as a result of an automobile accident.

In his spare time, Mr. Alonso has provided pro bono services to family and friends and enjoys exercising at the gym, spending time at the beach, and boating in the beautiful Florida waterways. He especially loves spending time with his son and family.
