Off The Bench Supports Community Since 2012
My name is Lexi Greene and I am a Junior as well as the President of Off The Bench Foundation. Off The Bench is a foundation that was created and founded in 2012 by my brother, Joshua Greene, who wanted to make a difference for kids in the community by collecting sports equipment and delivering it to kids in need.
While I was only 8 years old at the time, I went to all of the Off The Bench events and assisted in any way I could. So, naturally, when Joshua went off to College this year, I was able to take over the Foundation and put my own spin on it. I want to help the community in need as well.
Supporting People in Our Community with Free Fitness Videos
That brings me to today. I am watching the Coronavirus pandemic spread throughout the world and wondering what I can do to help. Because I work part-time at a fitness studio, I wanted to try to help using fitness and put a “Healthy” spin on what is going on in our community. I also see that Fitness Instructors, along with other people in the service industry such as Waitresses and Bartenders are really struggling to make ends meet during this time of uncertainty with very little or even no work, bringing in no income.
So, I have teamed up with Fitness Trainers, Lauren and Erica Philippona, sisters and local trainers, to put together some Exercise Videos for all levels of fitness in order to keep people moving and healthy during this time.
How to Help
I have set up a Go Fund Me page to collect donations. I was hoping that if you enjoy these Free Training Sessions either on Facebook, Instagram or on this site, you would be so kind to donate whatever you can so that I can, in turn, help those individuals in the community that are struggling to get by right now.
Let’s make a difference together and help those in our community by practicing healthy habits and staying fit!
