Nyah Tennell is an Associate with Steinger, Greene and Feiner, Port Saint Lucie. Prior to joining the firm, Nyah practiced insurance defense, where she defended corporations and business’ interests in premise liability and automobile claims brought by individuals. This experience has indeed brought Nyah a unique advantage in understanding how to negotiate with these corporations in her pursuit of compensation for injury victims here at Steinger, Greene & Feiner.
Nyah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism with minors in English and Political Science from the renowned University of Miami in 2017, graduating with magna cum laude honors. Nyah then went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate degree from the esteemed Florida State University School of Law where she received book awards in Executive Clemency for her advocacy on the restoration of voter’s rights, and in FSU’s Immigration Clinic where Nyah helped individuals obtain citizenship and permanent residency in the United States.
While at Florida State, Nyah served as the law clerk to the General Counsel of the Florida Supreme Court. Nyah was also elected to serve on the Executive Board of the Black Law Students Association and was selected for Florida State’s Mock Trial Team. In 2022, Nyah’s 4-member team won the Constance Baker Motley Regional and National Mock Trial Competition, and Nyah was awarded “Best Advocate” for the Defense at the national competition.
Now, Nyah is thrilled to bring her passion for law to Steinger, Greene & Feiner, representing injury victims in their pursuit of justice and compensation.
