David S. Mitchell is a partner, operating out of the Port St. Lucie office of Steinger, Greene & Feiner. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010, David has devoted his practice to personal injury and insurance disputes throughout Florida in various tort and strict liability cases and has successfully litigated cases involving premises liability, automobile, products liability, and wrongful death cases. He handles all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of plaintiffs, including automobile negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, and dog bites.
Prior to joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner, David practiced as a civil defense litigator, representing large corporations and insurance companies in personal injury, slip and fall, automotive, tire design defect, and product liability cases, including successfully handling numerous cases through trial in both State and Federal Courts throughout Florida. David is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida.
Originally from Cortland, New York, David graduated from Tufts University in 2004. Thereafter, he relocated to Florida, where he attended law school at the University of Florida, earning his Juris Doctorate degree in 2009, with honors. David is a member of both the Florida Bar and St Lucie County Bar Associations.
