Before joining Steinger, Greene, & Feiner in September of 2024, Robert M. Olsen worked for a well-respected insurance defense firm, focusing on first-party property insurance claims and personal injury for major insurance companies and corporations. There he gained invaluable insight into their practices, handling a heavy caseload involving homeowner property insurance claims, motor vehicle accidents, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injuries. This insight allows Robert to anticipate defense strategies and deliver powerful, results-driven advocacy for his clients injured by the negligence of others.
Mr. Olsen was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, and recently moved to Port St. Lucie, FL. With deep roots to both the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches, Robert has built strong, trusted relationships within these communities. Robert earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida where he majored in Criminal Justice, minored in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, and received a certificate in Criminal Profiling.
Robert’s passion for law was engrained through a family of law enforcement officers. He obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shephard Broad College of Law, graduating with a certification in International Law. His desire for a legal career pushed him to make the dean’s list throughout his law school career. Robert was also became a member of the university’s Moot Court Society; an honors society devoted to the practice of appellate-level oral advocacy.
During his undergraduate time, Robert was a member of the university’s football team where he helped the ‘Knights ’achieve a bowl victory in the 2011 Auto Zone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee.
Robert enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending local productions of community theater, and watching his beloved UCF Knights on Saturdays.
